Il Segno del Comando - Sublimazione
Un disco live non è solo una fotografia di ciò che accade sul palco. È un rito, una trasmutazione. E Sublimazione, il nuovo album de Il Segno del Comando, storica formazione dark prog metal, sembra nascere proprio da questa consapevolezza.
Il disco, in uscita a fine luglio 2025, non conterrà inediti ma proporrà una registrazione dal vivo tratta dal tour invernale.
Brani già noti, dunque, ma riscoperti sotto una luce diversa: registrato durante il tour invernale, il disco raccoglie nuove interpretazioni del repertorio storico della band, riletti con un’energia diversa, più cruda e vitale. Come se il palco, con la sua urgenza e la sua carne viva, avesse riattivato qualcosa di profondo, trasformando ogni nota in materia vibrante.
“La sublimazione, in senso esoterico, rappresenta un passaggio di crescita spirituale. Ma il termine è usato anche in diversi ambiti scientifici per indicare processi di purificazione e trasformazione. Un live è, a suo modo, un’evoluzione: brani scritti nel tempo prendono nuova forma, nuova vita.”— Diego Banchero.
E in effetti, qualcosa è cambiato. Dal 2024 alla batteria c’è Paolo Serboli, presenza che ha portato nuova linfa, ritmo, direzione. Un innesto che non resta in secondo piano, ma agisce in profondità, scuote e rinnova.
Sublimazione verrà presentato dal vivo in una cornice d’eccezione: il Rock Inn Somma, festival che dal 2006 è casa e crocevia per il rock e il metal underground italiano. Un palco dove le identità musicali si confrontano, si mescolano, si rafforzano.
Non è solo una raccolta dal vivo, questo nuovo album. È un passaggio, forse un rito di passaggio, che segna un’altra tappa nel cammino sonoro e spirituale de Il Segno del Comando.

Il Segno del Comando – Sublimazione
A live album is not just a snapshot of what happens on stage. It’s a ritual, a transmutation. And Sublimazione, the new album by Il Segno del Comando, the long-standing dark prog metal band, seems to be born precisely from this awareness.
Set for release in late July 2025, the album will not feature new tracks, but rather a live recording from the band’s recent winter tour.
Familiar songs, then, but seen in a different light: recorded during the winter tour, the album offers new interpretations of the band’s historical repertoire—reimagined with a rawer, more vital energy. As if the stage, with its urgency and visceral presence, had awakened something deep, transforming each note into something vibrant and alive.

And indeed, something has changed. Since 2024, Paolo Serboli has taken over on drums, bringing fresh energy, drive, and direction. A new presence that doesn’t remain in the background but cuts deep—shaking, renewing.
Sublimazione will be officially presented live at the Rock Inn Somma, a festival that since 2006 has been a landmark event for Italy’s underground rock and metal scene. A stage where musical identities meet, blend, and grow stronger.
This isn’t just a live compilation. It’s a passage—perhaps a rite of passage—that marks another step in Il Segno del Comando’s sonic and spiritual journey.
