Ci sono canzoni che sembrano nate da un sogno, e altre che da un sogno ritornano per diventare realtà. Per Salire Su, nuovo singolo dei Diaspro, appartiene a entrambe. È l’inizio di un concept album che affonda le radici nel rock progressivo italiano, ma guarda al presente con lucidità e cura del dettaglio.
Scritto e prodotto da Marcello Chiaraluce, il brano racconta un momento di consapevolezza: per “salire”, bisogna prima lasciar andare le proprie zavorre mentali. Una tensione che si riflette nei suoni — densi, contrastati, sospesi tra gravità e slancio.
Per Salire Su è il brano più heavy del disco, con richiami al prog metal, aperture funk e un respiro rock americano. È costruito con mestiere e sincerità, segno di una visione chiara.
Dietro i Diaspro c’è un ritorno alle origini. Dopo anni da sideman per musicisti di Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, PFM, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme, Osanna, Balletto di Bronzo, Van Der Graaf Generator, Chiaraluce ha sentito il bisogno di tornare al proprio linguaggio: quello del prog come forma di libertà e racconto. Ispirato da Tubular Bells e Per un Amico, ha iniziato a comporre partendo da sogni ricorrenti.
Il progetto ha preso corpo con Giovanni Giordano (chitarre), Luca Grosso (batteria), Andrea Manuelli (tastiere vintage), Bruce Muirhead (basso e contrabbasso) e Dante Campora (voce), al debutto discografico con un timbro che evoca la teatralità dei New Trolls. Tutto è suonato dal vivo, senza campionamenti, come un ritratto autentico del suono della band.
Registrato tra il BDM Studio di Acqui Terme e le Manifatture Musicali, con mix e mastering di Claudio Cattero, il singolo esce per Guit-AL Records, etichetta e festival fondati dallo stesso Chiaraluce.
Con Per Salire Su, i Diaspro riaccendono la fiamma del prog italiano, restituendogli la sua essenza più vera: unire tecnica ed emozione, sogno e consapevolezza.

Some songs seem born from a dream, while others return from a dream to become reality. Per Salire Su, the new single by Diaspro, belongs to both. It marks the beginning of a concept album rooted in Italian progressive rock, yet it looks to the present with clarity and meticulous attention to detail.
Written and produced by Marcello Chiaraluce, the piece captures a moment of awareness: to rise, one must first let go of mental burdens. This tension echoes through the music — dense, contrasted, suspended between gravity and release.
Per Salire Su is the heaviest track on the record, with hints of prog metal, touches of funk, and an American rock openness. It’s crafted with both skill and sincerity — the sign of a clear artistic vision.
Behind Diaspro lies a return to origins. After years as a sideman alongside musicians from Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, PFM, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme, Osanna, Balletto di Bronzo, and Van Der Graaf Generator, Chiaraluce felt the need to return to his own language — prog as a space for freedom and storytelling. Inspired by Tubular Bells and Per un Amico, he began composing from recurring dreams that seemed to share a hidden thread.
The project took shape with Giovanni Giordano (guitars), Luca Grosso (drums), Andrea Manuelli (vintage keyboards), Bruce Muirhead (bass and double bass), and Dante Campora (vocals), making his recording debut with a timbre recalling the theatrical expressiveness of the New Trolls. Everything was played live, without samples — an authentic portrait of the band’s sound.
Recorded between BDM Studio in Acqui Terme and Manifatture Musicali, mixed and mastered by Claudio Cattero, the single is released on Guit-AL Records, the label and guitar festival founded by Chiaraluce himself.
With Per Salire Su, Diaspro rekindle the flame of Italian prog, restoring its truest essence — the union of technique and emotion, dream and awareness.
