Ci sono album che arrivano semplicemente come nuove uscite discografiche e altri che portano con sé una storia. A Mythmaker’s Demise del progetto Lalu appartiene sicuramente alla seconda categoria. Un lavoro che celebra i vent'anni di un progetto nato nel 2005 con Oniric Metal, ma che non si limita a guardare al passato: è un nuovo capitolo di un percorso ancora aperto, costruito sulla voglia di esplorare nuove strade mantenendo intatta la propria identità.

Con Fhloston Paradise l'album ritrova una dimensione più rock, grazie a un ritmo coinvolgente e a una struttura più diretta. Un brano energico, ma sempre caratterizzato dalla cura negli arrangiamenti che accompagna tutto il lavoro.
Cordal Weaves è una traccia che cresce lentamente e conquista soprattutto con il passare degli ascolti. La sua evoluzione porta verso un finale particolarmente intenso, uno dei momenti nei quali emerge maggiormente il tema centrale dell'album: la necessità di continuare a creare e raccontare.
A chiudere questo eccellente lavoro troviamo Midnight Ink, una composizione più raccolta e malinconica. Pianoforte, voce e atmosfere sospese accompagnano l'ascoltatore verso la fine del viaggio con grande eleganza, lasciando una sensazione di profondità e delicatezza.
